On 16 Dec, we are so honored to invite 4 great persons from the most popular Game-Fi projects on OEC- Philip Devine, Founder&CEO of CryptoBlades, David, Product Manager of Celestial, Sam Lin, producer of Cyber Cat, and Skyler, OEC Evangelist. And for some people who could not engage in our sessions, we’d like to share its recap to you!

Nancy: Welcome everyone to our latest AMA session. I’m Nancy
The channel has now been muted. Today I would like to welcome our friends from gamefi projects CryptoBlades, Celestial, CyberCat, OEC. Let’s welcome @TheKroge @david_Kin1 @SamLinnn SkylerW!

  1. First of all, please give a brief introduction to your projects, and any details of the current progress? @TheKroge@david_Kin1@SamLinnn@SkylerW

CryptoBlades: CryptoBlades is a play-to-earn NFT RPG developed by Riveted Games on the BSC, Heco, Polygon, OEC, and Avalanche platforms. The game revolves around the acquisition of legendary Blades and the powerful Heroes who wield them. Players may participate in combat using their assets to earn SKILL tokens. Assets are player-owned NFTs minted to the ERC-721 standard, and may be traded on the proprietary marketplace. CryptoBlades utilizes a play-to-earn model by distributing SKILL through gameplay, and giving value to player NFTs by increasing their use through future features.

CryptoBlades is live and things are going very well for us. Since launching we have added raids, which is an NFT staking mechanism, a bunch of items to our Skill Shop that allow users to further customize their NFTs, a multi-farm allowing us to showcase partner projects where our users can claim the partner’s tokens, and we have a lot more on the horizon. One other feature that is in an active beta test is PvP and we are super excited to share it with everyone.

Outside of CryptoBlades in general, we have a lot of other big things going on too. Our follow up game, CryptoBlades: Kingdoms is in active development. The token native to CryptoBlades: Kingdoms, KING, is live after a successful IDO and so are the lands from our initial lands sale. I can’t put out any firm dates right now, but we are hoping to have an alpha ready in April for some of the modules. What I can do is share some of the amazing design elements the team has put together. Those I have attached here.

We have also announced our metaversal project, Omnus. I did a short reveal video with a brief sneak peak that I can share here, but this project will be a 3D immersive world focused on blockchain gaming. Much of it is still in development, but we have already brought on some very exciting partners in Improbable and Volmi Games that we think will make this project special and separate us from other metaverses.

Celestial: Celestial is a cross-chain metaverse game that combines GameFi, SocialFi, and NFT Swap with the theme of interstellar warfare. The players are able to ‘Play and Earn’.

The ultimate goal of Celestial is to create a metaverse of its own, where in the world Celt tokens are used as the basic economic support, the warship NFT is used as the way of display form of its own property, and the game is the expression of the entire metaverse.

We created worldviews and a background story for Celestial and it is left incomplete, which means the operations made by the players will have impacts on the whole story.

We have deployed our game in both the OEC and BSC chain. And Demo of our 3D game has already been released.Link of DEMO:http://demo.celt.game

CyberCat: CyberCat creates a crypto-cat fantasy world where players can raise and breed a variety of cute cats, and adventure alongside your cats.

Players are able to collect, breed, raise and trade this creature known as CyberCat. Lead your own CyberCat squad to participate in PVE, PVP, and complete daily missions or special missions to earn lucrative incentives. Players can sell and trade their in-game assets for cryptocurrency, earn revenue in CyberCat through gameplay skills and contributions to the ecosystem.

On December 3, CyberCat was officially launched in BSC and OEC, and so far a total of 18,869 of the four classes Genesis NFTs, including plant, dragon, beast and Aquatic, have been released, all of which were sold out in a short period of time. The remaining Mech and Bug class Genesis NFTs have not yet been released. Breeders who missed the first two rounds of the sale still have the chance to own the Genesis CyberCat with genesis labels and rare attributes.

At present, the number of daily online users of the game is about 4500+, and it has been two weeks since its launch, With the addition of the game guilds, the number of daily online users is still rising, Cybercat is getting more and more popular.

These are the basics of CyberCat. The content of this game is very rich and ponderous, so we suggest you get involved in the game, explore this wonderful world together, and enjoy the fun and new experience of earning while playing!

OEC: OEC, previously known as OKExChain, is an EVM-compatible, high-performance chain launched in 2021, we are an independent blockchain supported by OKEx, one of the largest crypto exchanges, for building decentralized applications. The technology built into the chain was specifically designed for high-performance trading activities and financial services which makes it a great match for many DeFi protocols, NFTs and other metaverse applications.

We just half a year ago, so you can say OEC is a new kid here in the blockchain space, but we are surely growing very fast. Top dApps like SushiSwap, DODO, O3, Chainlink, Pickle, autofarm all have deployed on OEC, and of course all the amazing GameFi projects like Cryptoblades, Celt, Radio Caca and CyberCat.

2. What is GameFi composed of? @SkylerW

GameFi has become a very popular concept in both gaming and DeFi industries. Traditional gamers, who are used to pay to play, are being attracted to this new format of game-playing where instead they can be rewarded for their time and effort, which is called “Play to earn”. And now since we already have a basic idea of what GameFi is, I think we could go on and explore what the GameFi consists of.

Every GameFi project has its unique way for users to play, however I think most GameFi projects share the following characteristics:

  1. NFTs. As in traditional games, users can own avatars, animals, houses, tools, etc. represented in NFT. From there, users can spend their resources on improving their digital assets and subsequently exchange them for cryptocurrencies, thus generating an extra profit.

2. Game mechanics + DeFi Protocols. Those 2 parts both stand for the “Game” and the “Fi” part of a GameFi project, Currently, if you look into GameFi project, those games are mainly a type of role-playing, virtual space, nurturing combat, and multiplayer construction. The GameFi games have stronger interaction, experience, immersion with players, and also generate higher interest. GameFi provides its players many ways to generate income. For example:

-NFT pets for reproduction

-NFT equipment to improve skills

-pledge NFT to gain income

-Battle games offer rewards in respect of participating in battles and completing miscellaneous tasks, finally, when users play such games they will certainly make money.

3.Blockchain game is such a popular topic this year. Many game projects have achieved great success. Do you think blockchain game can continue to lead the industry next year? Why? @TheKroge@david_Kin1@SamLinnn

CryptoBlades: I think what Blockchain gaming has done this past year is show the creative and fun side of DeFi, while rewarding users in the process.

This trend will continue, especially in CryptoBlades, as we develop tools around gaming that drive innovation in all of crypto, which brings me to our metaverse Omnus

Celestial: First of all, the metaverse is already a big trend of the world, and as the main feature game is an indispensable element in the metaverse.

When people get to know NFT better, we analyzed that the sub-track of NFT, NFT blockchain games will be the next hot spot. Because gaming itself is already attractive, no doubt NFT chain games will be the trend if the players can not only enjoy the game, but also ‘Play to Earn’. We are strongly optimistic about the future of NFT chain games.

CyberCat: We all know that previous games have always been built on a centralized system. All assets, data and game currency are under the control of a centralized system at all times.

The NFT industry has grown by leaps and bounds this year as it leverages the transparency of the blockchain and a secure digital ledger to verify the authenticity of unique products. It gives gamers a viable means to officially own their digital assets, which allows them to benefit from their game characters. As digital property rights become legalized and the blockchain becomes more secure, NFT may become an even more important bargaining chip.

There is no doubt that GameFi will continue to lead the development of the industry. Although the current rapid development of GameFi, the plight of the game production team continues to be staged in the existing game platforms. But I don’t think the early discrimination against GameFi will continue. As far as I know, As far as I know, several of the current market’s leading traditional game studios will already be entering GameFi in a more meaningful way next year, most likely through mergers and acquisitions of other Web3 games, and trying to start their layouts in a decade-long big market trend and take advantage of the NFT boom that will attract more traditional game companies and studios to GameFi in the coming battle for talent.

【OEC】@SkylerW

1. What are the popular games on the OEC?

OEC has always been paying great attention to the development and support of GameFi projects from the beginning of our launch to the present. And now we have more than 20 GameFi and NFT projects launched on OEC, and today’s 4 guests CryptoBlades, Celt, Radio Caca and CyberCat are all high-quality projects that have been deployed on OEC.

In addition, we also think greatly of high-quality GameFi projects in the early stages of development, so we also cooperate with some Launchpads, including OKEx NFT Marketplace, to jointly promote and support the start and development of new potential GameFi projects.

2. What support policies does OEC have for blockchain game projects?

Just like I explained before, OEC has always been paying great attention to the development and support of GameFi projects since our launch, so with that in mind, we provide OEC comprehensive technical support for high-quality GameFi projects from beginning to the final launch. In addition, OEC has just ended our hackathon with the theme of BUIDL IN METAFORCE, the purpose of the event is to support and encourage more developer teams to join GameFi and Metaverse on OEC.

OEC’s ecosystem is gradually enriching and growing, which also allows OEC to provide the most comprehensive ecological support for the deployed GameFi projects. and that why we are glad to see games like CryptoBlades, Celestial, Radio Caca and CyberCats launched on OEC and thriving.

3. What are the advantages of OEC to attract game developers?

When it comes to OEC, there are at least three advantages :

  1. Insanely low gas fee.

2. Blazingly fast transaction speed

3. Top projects deployed have the opportunity to be listed on OKEx, which is very important for developers and the project team to grow and further develop the projects, we could say that only a small number of networks could offer these supports.

We all know that the problem of high cost of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain are nothing new, and that’s why we understand that developers need to have a chain that is not expensive, and fast, which OEC could 100% offer. Also, with the support like listing on top exchange platforms like OKEx, could provide the project a big opportunity to grow the projects.

4. What dimensions will OEC use to evaluate a project to ensure the quality and safety of project launching?

It’s actually pretty hard to evaluate projects quality with just one standard, especially when it comes to metaverse projects like GameFi. GameFi’s mechanisms tend to be quite complicated, and usually involve huge technical and financial investment. And with the rise of the metaverse concept, GameFi projects have begun to bloom rapidly everywhere, and there are far more poor-quality projects than the great ones.

That being said, we do have a 360 degree evaluation procedure in place, particularly to spot promising projects in early stages and give them full supports. We care more about teams as much as games: What has the team done before, do they have experience in traditional gaming and/or blockchain industry, what are their views in Metaverse. etc. We take these questions very seriously.

And that’s why when we talk to CryptoBlades, Celt, Radio Caca and CyberCat team, we were impressed by their deep experience and views in games and blockchain industry, all their commitment in long term value and user experience. And that’s why they are the top games now on OEC.

【CryptoBlades】@TheKroge

1. Can you tell us about Skill Token? How can we obtain it?

SKILL is the native token to CryptoBlades. It is what is at the heart of the economy of the game. You use SKILL when recruiting characters, forging weapons, and making purchases from the Skill Shop. SKILL is earned when successful in combat.

To date, we are on 5 different chains. Depending on where you are interested in playing we have a couple of different options for our users. I have included a handful below:

  • OEC — JSwap
  • BSC — PancakeSwap and ApeSwap
  • Heco — ButterSwap
  • Avalanche — Pangolin
  • Polygon — ApeSwap

2. What measures has CryptoBlades taken to solve the problem of game fairness?

There have been a number of measures we have taken to solve the problem of game fairness. It is no surprise that with the rise of play-to-earn games, people have tried to find ways to maximize their earnings. We love that people are being innovative and creating spreadsheets and multiple accounts to do this. What we absolutely do not want, however, is people setting up bots to run accounts. To combat this our team has put in place a number of barriers to bots. First off, any single account is limited to only 4 characters per account and each character has a set amount of stamina for combat meaning there is a limited number of battles done per day. Additionally, the rewards entire game is on layer 1 technology, so identifying bad actors is a straightforward process.

3. We see that CryptoBlades attracts many excellent institutions participating in the investment, and there are also many partners, they must see the value in CryptoBlades and are willing to work together to promote eco construction. And what is the future plan of CryptoBlades?

We have a lot of big things on the horizon. One of the big features that is in beta testing right now is PvP. This allows users to enter a pool, wager SKILL, and battle one another. We think it is a fun and interesting mechanic that will keep everyone from the most hardcore player to the person just starting off entertained. Another big feature that was launched, but is growing is our Knighthood program and the multi-farm. This is a program designed to act as a springboard to new and existing projects. In return for an allocation of tokens that would typically go toward LP mining or marketing, we showcase the partnered project on our platform and social medias as well as help them make connections in the industry. The the tokens go up as a claimable reward for CryptoBlade users. We feel this is a win-win. The partnered project expands its token holders to a niche market of NFT gamers and our users have an opportunity to claim a reward other than SKILL.

Besides these two features, we have our follow up game, CryptoBlades: Kingdoms that is in active development. It is going to be a AAA level, Clash of Clans style game. I would encourage everyone to check out the website (https://cryptobladeskingdoms.io/) because it is going to be super cool! We are working with a number of very talented gaming groups with this. Then the other big big thing is our metaverse, Omnus, which is aimed at being a hub of blockchain gaming.

【Celestial】@david_Kin1

1. Could you please introduce Celestial’s gameplay in detail and what are the innovations in gameplay?

1. Rift system (New rules): Players could join RIFT by staking their GAMMA ship into the pool, up limit is 100. (New rules) there will bid for the spot, whoever paid highest fee will get the spot (top 100users).

2. Moore boxes: Players could trade crystal for boxes, how to get crystal: A. There are crystal mining pool in reclamation page, player have to stake token to generate crystal.

B. Players could also stake into the finance centre to earn crystal.

C. Players could buy crystal in cherryswap(OEC)or Pancake swap(BSC)

After gaining crystal, exchange it for boxes, each box will grand you one warship ( the quality is random) OMAGE has highest value, ALPHA is lowest quality warship. GAMMA is the lowest level to upgrade and recast. Rank of the warship: Alpha-Beta- Delta — Gamma –Omega

3. Salvaging: Players stake warship into the pool to earn CELT, different planet has different rule and limitation. The new planet OEC-003 will grand all players a stable earning of CELT, which means with increasing of hash power, reward will get increased too.(Many players might concerned about massive dump for the CELT if output of CELT is huge. But our current burnt+locked/output is 87.6%, with more feature coming up, the ratio would only be increasing)

4. Recasting stat: warship stats can be recast by consuming CELT

5. Dungeon system: dungeon system will be released this week, which require a captain on the warship, in order to buy a captain, you need to lock at least 1000CELT to buy, Here is the detail for purchasing captains

2. In the world built by Celestial, how do players earn money?

1. Rift system: Players could join RIFT by staking their GAMMA ship into the pool, up limit is 100. It opens every 8 hours, where player could gain massive rewards.

3. Dungeon system: dungeon system will be released this week, which require a captain on the warship, in order to buy a captain, you need to lock at least 1000CELT to buy, Here is the detail for purchasing captains.

3. As the native token of Celestial, what application scenarios does CELT have?

1. CELT can convert to XCELT by lock down, and it can be used for increase the speed of your mining or salvaging.

2. CELT can be used for upgrade warships

3. Trade NFTs in NFT market by using CELT

4. Dungeon tickets

5. New rift rule(using Celt to bid for the spot)

【CyberCat】@SamLinnn

1. Please tell us about the varieties of CyberCat and their corresponding attributes?

CyberCat has six classes, each of which has different unique skills and can provide different help in the game. This is a brief introduction to several classes of CyberCat.

Plant Class CyberCat

It is a kind of virtual pet evolved from plants. The body of Plant Class CyberCat is composed of different kinds of plants. Some look like ferocious cacti, and some look like cute potatoes. Plant Class CyberCat With the attributes of plants, it also has relatively strong vitality and defense power. In the game, it is generally recommended to be placed in the front row to resist the enemy’s damage.

Dragon Class CyberCat

This ancient and mysterious pet was discovered in the legendary dragon cave. These pets look quite different from dragons in appearance, but the dragon horns on their heads still remind you of this is indeed a pet related to dragons. The Dragon Class CyberCat is very fast and can always move faster than the enemy.

Beast Class CyberCat

Beast CyberCat, with strong physique and furry body, the DNA of beasts is reflected in this mysterious pets that live by hunting. The extra keen sense of smell makes the Beast CyberCat invincible on the battlefield, and it is recommended to be used as DPS in the game, which can defeat the enemy without notice.

Aquatic Class CyberCat

A mysterious pet from the deep sea that can breathe like a fish in the water and run freely on land, Aquatic Class CyberCat loves to be clean, so in general, they stay in the water, they are extremely fast and strong, and can always move faster than the enemy.

Bug Class CyberCat

Bug Class CyberCat comes from the mysterious virtual wormhole and has a hard beetle shell and an agile body. It likes to move around in the forest and usually uses plants as food, so Plant Class CyberCat does not like Bug Class CyberCat and often clashes with it. Bug Class CyberCat has a relatively defensive power and can be placed in the front row to resist enemy.

Mech Class CyberCat

Mech Class CyberCat is a mechanical pet produced by AI through precise calculation and continuous optimization. Mech Class CyberCat has a cold mechanical appearance, but through continuous learning, these pets also have their own emotions and ideas. Mech Class CyberCat has a high-tech body and offensive weapons. It is recommended as firepower in the game, which can give the enemy a fatal blow with powerful attacks.

Each class of CyberCat has different characteristics, and the skills are mutually reinforcing.

CyberCat has 6 parts that can be upgraded and changed: horns, eyes, ears, mouth, feet and tail, and each part has a large number of items, so there are billions of combinations.

The scarcity of Genesis CyberCat NFT is determined by the number of Mystic parts the cat possesses.

The mystic part is a gene of CyberCat, with a very low probability of inheritance, and will gradually disappear during breeding and incubation. We designed a more powerful empowerment for mystici parts. For each Mystic Part, the maximum amount of PVE and mission reward HEP will be increased by an additional bonus

The value of the bonus is

With 1 mystic parts — 3% increase

With 2 mysticparts — 7% increase

With 3 mystic parts -15% increase

With 4 mystic parts — 50% increase

2. How to “play to earn” CyberCat?

You need 3 CyberCats to form a team to start the game and P2E’s journey. You can earn economically through PVE and PVP modes as well as breeding.

PVE (adventure) earns 200 HEP per day.

PVP (Battle mode) earns 60 HEP per day for winning versus.

Daily missions are also not to be ignored as a gold-beating income, and completing them will reward you with 100 HEP.

If you are an expert, then try the advanced game play and participate more in Battle mode to improve your ranking in the current season. CyberCat has prepared a generous CHE reward for the top 200 players!

By breeding, you can get new cats with different attributes and trade them on the marketplace for profit.

Currently the CyberCat marketplace is live with two liquidity mining pools where breeders can also stake CHE and HEP to receive rewards.

CyberCat also has a rebate mechanism for inviting friends. Inviting friends to join the Cybercat World will receive a CHE reward equivalent to 3% of the friend’s Marketplace transaction amount.

There are some more details that I would like to show you in the section on the introduction of the economic model.

3. Could you please give us a detailed introduction to CyberCat’s dual-token economic model?

CyberCat adopts the dual token mode of CHE and HEP. CHE is issued by CherrySwap as a dual governance token. The value capture scene of CHE includes Dex and CyberCat, and HEP is the incentive token of the game. Both CHE and HEP can be obtained from CherrySwap Exchange.

Cybercat’s economic system consists of two core game modes: combat and breeding.

Combat: Players can use their CyberCats to choose either adventure mode or battle mode to win HEP (health potion) as a reward.

Breeding: New CyberCat offspring can be produced by breeding. New offspring can be sold on the market for income. Breeding will cost HEP and CHE tokens as fees.

For the sake of simplicity, we assume that the player starts the game with a purchased Genesis Cybercat. To form a team, at least 3 Cybercats are required. Therefore, the threshold cost is: 200U*3=600U. The current price of HEP is 0.05USDT (December 16th), and ordinary players can earn more than 2000U per month. The following is the implementation process.

In the combat system, under ideal circumstances, each player can play 20 PVP per day, with a winning rate of 50%, a base score of 1200, and an estimated 60 HEP per day; daily adventures can earn 200 HEP, and daily missions can earn 100 HEP. Assuming that the breeder completes all tasks every day, you can get 360 HEP every day and 10,800 HEP every month. That is, you can earn 540 USDT.

The breeding system is central to the economic design of CyberCat, in which new CyberCat are produced and HEP and CHE are consumed. two CyberCat are required for each breeding process, and each CyberCat can be bred up to seven times. The cost of breeding increases with the number of breedings.

In the table above we can see that the HEP consumed during the breeding process rises exponentially. There are several key variables that determine the player’s final yield: the price of HEP, the price of CHE and the base price of CyberCat. CyberCat takes 72 hours to mature, siblings cannot breed together and parents cannot breed with their offspring. We assume that only mature CyberCat are sold in the market, and all obtained by breeding are ordinary CyberCats, which are sold at the current average market price of 120–150U/each, then in one month, at least 10+ CyberCats can be obtained by breeding, with an expected profit of 1500U+.

From this we know that the total profit (540+1500U) obtained through fighting and breeding is more than twice the cost.

Game resources and items are NFTed, which means they can be sold to anyone, anywhere in an open peer-to-peer marketplace. The demand for CyberCat (NFT) is what creates the demand for CHE and HEP, so for the health of an economic system that creates more reasons to motivate players to hold CyberCat (NFT), in the near term, there is a greater demand for new entrants as well as CyberCat, and a greater demand for advanced CyberCat from experienced players, and in the long term, assuming that in the future we reward CyberCat ( NFT holders market transaction tax, this innovative mechanism enables NFT holders to earn a huge passive income just by holding NFT in their wallets, which will motivate more people to be willing to hold Cybercats (NFT).

Of course we will improve and enrich the whole ecological and economic system by giving more empowerment to NFT and token. The liquidity mining is currently available in the CyberCat marketplace, and players can also stake CHE and HEP to get pledge rewards. 30% of the entire game revenue will be used to buy back and destroy CHE, and 30% of the CHE consumed by breeding will also be transferred to the black hole for destruction instantly, these feedbacks will make the whole economic system more smooth and healthy.

Nancy: Ok. It’s time to put an end to today’s AMA. Thank you all our guests for taking time out of your busy schedule to introduce gamefi and your projects. Feel free to come back and join us anytime.

I would also like to thank everyone for joining us here today and stay tuned for more exciting AMAs and events to come!
